We are passionate about food as well as plants. So we have combined our tropical glasshouse and our tearoom to create a stunning and relaxing environment. You can enjoy scrumptious meals surrounded by lush foliage plants and spectacular orchids. We have teamed up with local suppliers and food producers who provide us with high quality and flavoursome fare, farm-reared meats, free-range eggs, artisan breads, wonderful cakes, real ales, good wines, fantastic coffee, award-winning jams and more.

We serve delicious soups, sandwiches, salads, cold meats and cheeses as well as our fabulous high teas. Treat yourself to, or give as a present, one of our delicious high teas, a feast of sandwiches, savouries, cakes, scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam. Enjoy a glass of champagne for the ultimate afternoon teatime experience!

We have created two areas in the glasshouse for our customers who would like to bring their dogs with them. We very much welcome well-behaved four-legged friends. We have also installed a lovely oblong table, with chairs and benches, in the Malay Hut itself and this can be booked for birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, etc.

We are delighted to be working with Oxford Brookes University in developing our menus and training our staff. Their guidance and support has been invaluable and will continue to be so.
